The City Light Board is Wall’s flagship, primarily placed on large streets and city squares. The backlit advertising space is 3.5 x 2.5 meters in size, rotating posters every 15 seconds. The City Light Board is a cornerstone of Wall’s marketing concept. Through redesign and development, the City Light Board was fitted for Wall’s current urban furniture system. The unique convex acrylic glass screen is held together by a nearly invisible frame, reducing the weight of the structure by 50% in comparison to the traditional flat screen.
The project included the development of two series of advertising display showcases in 4/1 format. The display advertisements are backlit and rotate every 15 seconds. Since the showcases are predominantly placed in malls, airports and heavily trafficked areas, it was important that the design be both timeless and discreet and capable of accommodating a variety of locations. With a depth of only 12 cm, the showcases are truly novel in their technical features. The inclusion of rear-reverse print and frameless glass mark innovation in this sector as well.
